Tuolumne Co. Man Arrested After Deputies Find Cache Of Weapons
JAMESTOWN (CBS13) - Tuolumne County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man after discovering a cache of weapons, ammunition and more at his Jamestown home.
After getting a tip about the firearms, deputies served a search warrant for the home and business of 35-year-old Virak Raingsan on Saturday.
They found nothing at his business in Groveland, however, they discovered nine guns including AR15 and AK47 assault style rifles, ammunition, ballistic vests, military-style helmets and martial arts weapons.
Raingsan has prior felony convictions and cannot legally own a firearm.
Deputies are trying to determine if any of the firearms were stolen.
A stolen vehicle was also found on his property.
Raingsan was arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail.
