The Grant Napear Show - December 1, 2011

Another live show from Hotters for the Grant Napear show, as Grant tries to cover as much from the world of sports before Thursday Night Football get underway between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Seattle Seahawks.

The topic of the show was the big news out of Oakland. Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain was arrested Thursday on misdemeanor assault, firearms and other charges after police said he fired a gun during a fight in his Alabama hometown. With the Raiders standing on top of the AFC West at (7-4) and trying to keep momentum going as they move into the stretch run of the season, this is not the kind of spotlight that the Raiders are looking to be under. Only time will tell what will come of the charges on Rolando McClain, and how it will affect the Oakland Raiders.

Chris Landry with Fox Sports Radio joins the show to share his thoughts on Rolando McClain saying, "I don't think if this turns out to be true he (Rolando McClain) will be able to escape the wrath of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell." Switching gears Landry talks a little about Oakland Raiders linebacker, Aaron Curry and his move from Seattle to Oakland saying, "he has good athleticism and he does well in open space. I think the Raiders are allowing him to be himself."

Next on the show, Oakland Raiders LB Aaron Curry stops by to talk about how he is fitting in with the Raiders and the new developments on his teammate Rolando McClain. Talking first about McClain, when asked what advice he would give McClain, Curry replied; "I would tell him to leave it up to God, and leave it at that."
