The Carmichael Dave Show - December 12, 2011

Carmichael Dave kicked off today's show by opening phone lines to calls about this weekend's NFL action. Dave discussed the San Francisco 49ers' loss to the Cardinals as well as the Oakland Raiders loss to the Packers.

Sam Amick from Si.com came on to discuss the potential trades in the NBA and why the trades involving Chris Paul going to the Lakers and the Clippers have been blocked by David Stern. They talked about the recent signing of Chuck Hayes by the Sacramento Kings, as well as the rumors about Andrei Kirilenko possibly coming to Sacramento.

Steve Cofield from Yahoo! sports and Cagewriter.com came on to discuss this past weekends UFC 140. They discussed the fight between Frank Mir and Antônio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira and what happened in that fight. Is Tito Ortiz a UFC Hall of Famer? and also what happened to Mark Hominick in his fight. They discussed whether or not Jon Jones had the best calender year in MMA with his wins over Ryan Bader, Shogun Rua, Rampage Jackson, and Lyoto Machida. Who would win the super-fight between Jon Jones and Anderson Silva, and who would be the favorite. Also Steve gave his input on the recent comments made by several UFC fighters on Twitter, and what should be done about it.
