Rocklin Police Warn Of Catalytic Converter Thefts
ROCKLIN (CBS13) — Rocklin police say at least 10 Toyota vehicles had their catalytic converters stolen overnight.
The area hit the hardest was in the Pinnacles Drive area of Rocklin near S. Whitney Boulevard, police said. Roseville has experienced an increase of catalytic converter thefts as well.
Police encourage residents to park their vehicles inside garages or in a secure side yard whenever possible and use motion detector lights.
The police department encourages residents to report suspicious activity by calling the non-emergency line at (916) 625-5400, or if witnessing an in-progress crime, to call 9-1-1.
