The Don Geronimo Show - January 20, 2012

Today, Craig gets the tattoo on the air!! Don begins by calling him in to talk about the tattoo he's getting, then has him screen phone calls on the air. Don then talks about Noodles walking out on us during the show yesterday, and plays Walt Shaw's version of the "Hey Baby Girl"

video. Don also brings in Julie Ryan from the Pat and Tom Show to read the "Hey Baby Girl" transcript. After talking about TV shows that were on last night, including American Idol and Big Bang Theory, Don plays a clip from Newt Gingrich's ex-wife Marianne's interview on ABC, in which she says Newt wanted an open relationship, and also a clip of President Obama singing Al Green's "Let's Stay Together."

It's then time for Craig to come in to get his tattoo. Craig, being a die-hard 49ers fan, gets the tattoo so that he and his girlfriend Paris can go to the NFC Championship game. Don bought 2 tickets earlier in the week- tickets that are now going for over $1k apiece, and for Craig to have them, he gets a tattoo of the Bill Walsh coaching tree- right on his buttocks!! Shane and Mike from "Black Rose Tattoo" in Orangevale stop in to do the work, and they take turns doing the tattoo, going well into the Carmichael Dave show afterwards!

Don also interviews Curt Menefee from the NFL on FOX. Shane breaks down the NFC Championship game, picks the Patriots to win the AFC, and even talks to Craig about getting the tattoo!! It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom talks about the passing of Legendary blues singer Etta James, Eva Longoria having her Tony Parker inspired tattoos removed, and a possible  "Christmas Story" sequel. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
