The Critter Outfitter is located inside the Sacramento County Animal Shelter and is run by volunteers from the nonprofit group TEAM (Teaching Everyone That Animals Matter). They feature various dog fashions such as pinafores, sweaters, dresses and raincoats. The prices are affordable, many of the clothing items are hand-made and one-of-a-kind. Best of all, the proceeds help promote shelter adoptions and assist with the cost of veterinary care.

Doggie divas can find a range of sweater designs and sizes and there are brochures on hand with many more designs that can be ordered. Sizes are available for small pooches and those up to about 40 pounds; larger sizes can be ordered.
