The Grant Napear Show - February 29, 2012

Today on the Grant Napear Show, the Kings were the main topic of conversation. Grant took calls about the Kings, Isaiah Thomas, Tyreke Evans and the new Entertainment and Sports Complex. Grant also interviewed Michael Wilbon, Keith Smart and Chuck Hayes.

Michael Wilbon from ESPN joined Grant today. Michael talked about the Kings, and how they can succeed in Sacramento. Then he talked about the Western Conference, and how the Spurs are emerging as a top team in the West. They also talked baseball and the expansion of the MLB postseason, along with the Ryan Braun suspension saga. Finally, Mike talked about Demarcus Cousins and what the future holds for him.

Sacramento Kings' head coach Keith Smart was on with Grant today. Coach talked about Isaiah Thomas, and Tyreke Evans. He also discussed Geoff Petrie's involvement with the team, and how important the fans are in Sacramento. Coach Smart also talked about the fine issued when a player's cell phone goes off in the locker room.

Chuck Hayes of the Sacramento Kings joined Grant today. Chuck first talked about Isaiah Thomas and what makes him special as a player. They also talked about Chuck's shoulder injury, and how he feels playing with the injury and embracing his role on the team. Finally, Grant asked Chuck about the Clippers and the key to beating a team like the Clippers.
