Sacramento County Offering $10,000 Reward In Teenager's Murder

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Sacramento County is offering $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever killed a Rosemont 13-year-old earlier this month.

The Board of Supervisors approved the award money earlier this week in the case of Jessica Funk-Haslam.

Jessica's body was discovered in the early morning hours of March 6 inside a baseball dugout at Rosemont Community Park. The investigation into the homicide is ongoing, but the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department has not identified any suspects.

Homicide detectives continue to seek anyone who may have been with Jessica or was in the vicinity of the park between 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on March 5, the night Jessica left her mother's home after an argument.
