SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento Police officers had a couple of colorful encounters on Thursday night, including a run-in with one man painted like the American flag.
Officers received a call of a man painted like the flag standing on the street corner in the 5800 block of Stockton Boulevard exposing his genitals to passing traffic.
Officers contacted and detained the colorfully painted Eric Anichini, 43. He was arrested for indecent exposure and an outstanding warrant.
Earlier Thursday, police observed a man yelling and wildly waving his arms and fists at people while they were visiting Old Sacramento.
When an officer attempted to talk to the subject, he immediately became confrontational and repeatedly punched the officer in his face and body, police said.
The officer and subject wrestled on the ground until additional units arrived on scene to assist in taking the man into custody.
Paul McDonald, 45, was arrested for felony assault on an officer.
