MODESTO (CBS13) – It’s estimated that 1,500 people in Modesto will be showing up for the smile they haven’t been able to afford.

People camped out overnight in Modesto to take part in a free dental clinic that started Friday morning.

Dentists will be seeing patients for two days and will not be charging any fees.

The free clinic started at 7 a.m. and runs up 6 p.m. at the Modesto Center Plaza.

The next event in our area will be held at Cal Expo in Sacramento in August.
