Four Teens Shot At Party In South Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS) - Gunfire erupted at a party in south Sacramento on Saturday morning, injuring four teens.

Sheriff's deputies received a call at around 12:30 a.m. that several teens were were drunk and being loud at a party in the 7600 block of Bogey Court. Deputies arrived and told everyone to go home. Everyone started leaving so the deputies left, according to Sacramento County Sheriff's Deputy Jason Ramos.

Just after 12:50 a.m., several 911 calls were made reporting gunshots in the area of the party. Deputies returned to the scene and found two teenage gunshot victims. Two other teenagers later showed up at an area hospital, and it was determined that they had all been at the party. A 15 year-old male was shot in the stomach and two other males, ages 14, 16, and a 17 year-old female were also shot. None of the victims' injuries were believed to be life-threatening.

Deputies asked nearby residents for statements, but were unable to get any information about the motive for the shooting nor a description of the suspect(s).
