Pipe Breaks, Damaging Midtown Sacramento Apartment Complex
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A midtown Sacramento apartment building suffered some damage after a pipe burst on the eighth floor early Monday morning.
A pipe burst in a kitchen in a unit on the 8th floor of Capitol Terrace Apartments on Capitol Avenue and 18th Street.
A cat named Rocky is credited with waking up its owner to alert him to the flooding.
Water went through the wall and spread through the floor.
It is unclear how many units suffered water damage.
The cause of the burst pipe has not been determined.
