New Call Center Will Bring 2,000 Jobs To Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A call center is opening in the Sacramento area that could bring as many as 2,000 new jobs, according to Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization (SACTO).

Advanced Call Center Technologies, LLC has leased an 87,000-square-foot building and will begin operations during the third quarter of 2012.

"This is great news for the region and represents much-needed job creation at a critical time," said Ann Madden Rice, Chief Executive Officer of UC Davis Medical Center and SACTO Board Chair.

According to Sacto.org, Advanced Call Center Technologies provides back office support services for companies in the financial services, communications, and technology industries.
