The Don Geronimo Show - July 17, 2012

Don begins by announcing that we are going to be picked up by a radio station on the east coast, but he's not allowed to say where just yet.

After the guys discuss the struggles of trying to get good sleep when working on a morning radio show, Don plays us a CD given to him by loyal listener Ben, who claims he heard Bigfoot on a camping trip, and recorded it on tape. The guys give it a listen, and aren't convinced.

Then we get a visit from the great Alan Thicke. Alan tells us about his new show, "The L.A. Complex," on the CW Network. He also tells us what he thinks is wrong with Kirk Cameron, the offers he's gotten to do a reality show, and the success of his son, Robin.

Don then talks about his days at WGMD in Delaware, and the idiotic way the station was ran, and Steve, who also spent time working there, tells a few similar stories as well. We then hear about a man who was harassed by the TSA at the San Francisco Airport, when his giant penis was mistaken for a "threatening explosion device." We also hear clips from Louis CK's appearance on last night's "Daily Show," and Don tells us about the Batmobile show he saw on TV last night.

We then get a visit from Ron and Billy from promotions, and their new intern, Lauren. Don gives her the Hot Seat Quiz, as well as a Cosmo Quiz, before sending the three of them out to the Natomas Marketplace to give away T-shirts and tickets to the new Dark Knight movie The guys then take a Cosmo quiz of their own, before Lauren calls in from the Marketplace, and Don talks to the lucky winners. The guys then watch a video of a fat woman falling down a waterslide, and a news story about a woman who is selling her house, and has a sign outside that says her husband cheated on her. We also hear about 7 Eleven bringing a "mashed potato machine" to stores in the U.S.

It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour. Today, Phantom tells us about animal rights activists flipping out in San Francisco, the passing of Deep Purple's Jon Lord at 71, the new Captain America sequel, and a new movie called "Django Unchained," in which the "N-bomb" is said over 150 times. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
