Actor Fred Willard Arrested For Lewd Acts In Public In Hollywood

LLYWOOD (CBS) — Actor Fred Willard is facing charges of lewd acts in public Thursday after being arrested outside an adult club in Hollywood.

Willard was arrested around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday by Hollywood vice officers outside of the Tiki Theater, 5462 of Santa Monica Boulevard, Los Angeles Police Department officials said.

According to TMZ.com, Willard was caught by officers with his pants down, watching an adult movie.

The Tiki Theater is a 24-hour adult business.

An employee at the Tiki Theater told CBS2 in Los Angeles that undercover police had come to the business twice Wednesday night and arrested an adult male.

Willard was sighted and released from police custody.

No one was hurt in the incident.

It is unclear when Willard will make his first appearance in court.
