Massive Pot Bust In Butte County Worth $5 Million

BUTTE COUNTY (CBS13) - Detectives seized three tons of marijuana with a street value of nearly $5 million in Butte County on Monday.

Sheriff's deputies searched a home on the Oroville-Quincy Highway, where they arrested two armed suspects from San Francisco.

Detectives arrested Rui Hu, 31, and Harry Liao, 48.

Detectives say they found more than 1,200 pot plants that were grown both inside and outdoors on the property.
