The Grant Napear Show - August 2, 2012

The Thursday edition of the Grant Napear Show meant the beginning of Grant's NFL previews, in which Grant will have a voice on from each team to look ahead to the 2012 season. Grant also ranted against the Dallas Cowboys, asked San Francisco Giants fans if they were panicking yet after a disastrous homestand, and asked listeners what they thought was the most meaningful sports victory in history.

Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post kicked off Grant's 2012 NFL preview to talk about the Miami Dolphins. Volin discussed the team's appearance on HBO's "Hard Knocks," new coach Joe Philbin, new quarterback Ryan Tannehill, and the adjustment to a new defense for the 2012 campaign.

Bip Roberts of Comcast SportsNet weighed in on the Giants' recent troubles. The team was one of the hottest in the league coming out of the All-Star break, but hit the skids in a big way on this most recent homestand, getting swept by the Dodgers in a weekend series and losing three of four to the Mets without having to face Cy Young candidate R.A. Dickey. Bip also gives his take on the Hunter Pence acquisition and what it takes to adjust to a midseason trade as a player.
