SAN JOAQUIN DELTA (CBS13) – A jet skier who had been reported missing has been found safe on an island in the Delta after an overnight search.
A Contra Costa County helicopter spotted the jet skier on the shore of Jersey Island off of the San Joaquin River Monday morning. He had been reported missing around 8 p.m. Sunday.
Search and rescue crews had been looking throughout the night for the rider who was last seen in the Franks Tract Recreation Area.
