The Don Geronimo Show - October 12, 2012

Don begins with his take on last night's Vice Presidential debate, telling us that he thought Biden won, but still came off looking like a douche. Don then announces his contest idea for tickets to this Sunday's Raider game: "Who has served the most jail time?" Our very first caller is a guy who served 12 years! We then hear about Don's visit to the post office, and the troll lady behind the counter that was rude to him and Janet. We also hear about the passing of Don's DJ buddy Chuck Crane, and Don tells us a story about DJ'ing at a club when he was 16, and seeing his dad, who lived 4 hours away, walk in with a lady and another man.

After Don plays a clip of San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum saying "now I know what a chick feels like" after taking champagne in the face, we get another visit from our good friend Frank Caliendo. Frank just got hired by ESPN to be on their Sunday NFL show, and he talks with the guys about the new gig, and tries out some of his new impressions! After Frank, Don takes a few more calls from ex-inmates trying to win Raider tickets, then calls in Deuce Mason, producer of the Jason Ross Show, to ask him about his dad who's in prison. We then hear the "Top 5 Most Annoying Sounds," a new dating app for Jewish people, and a poll on who Americans think would win a fight between Obama and Romney.

We also hear clips from the debate, as well as Kathie Lee dropping a dog on TV, before Don plays cartoons from the 40's that were banned, including propaganda cartoons from Walt Disney and Popeye. Don then rips a sales guy at the station for his asinine off-air comments about Don's contest, and the guys pick the NFL games, before it's time for the "Phantom News Hour." Filling in for Phantom, who had to leave early, is Slow Joe, and he tells us that Nelly's tour bus got busted for having heroin on it, Green Day says their heavy work load got to Billie Joe, Steven Tyler hates KISS, and Michael Bolton is getting his own ABC sitcom. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
