SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police are searching for a high-speed chase suspect who crashed into several parked cars in south Sacramento.

Officers tried to pull the driver over a driver on 71st Avenue south of Meadowview Road, but he crashed his vehicle into several others and ran off.

One resident received a phone call from his daughter saying his car had been damaged.

“She called me and told me there was a high-speed chase and someone hit my car and two or three more cars. And in fact, she said cars were piled up around there. She said one car was completely on top of another car,” he said.

Police set up a perimeter and called in a helicopter and K-9 officers to search for the suspect.
