The Grant Napear Show – November 12, 2012

Today on the Grant Napear Show there was a lot of talk about week 10 in the NFL, and the DeMarcus Cousins suspension. Grant discussed the Cousins suspension, as well as the 49ers and Raiders games. Then he took calls about Cousins, the Raiders’ struggles, and the Kings losses to the Spurs and Lakers. Grant interviewed Adam Caplan, Dennis Allen and Tim Ryan.

Adam Caplan from was on with Grant today to discuss the NFL as week 10 concludes. Adam talked about where Andy Reid, Michael Vick and the Eagles go following Vick’s concussion against the Dallas Cowboys. Grant and Adam also discussed the 49ers’ struggles against St. Louis, the Oakland Raiders’ defensive issues, and the Giants’ November swoon. Finally, Adam discussed what may happen in college football as Oregon, Notre Dame, Kansas State and Alabama are all still in the BCS Championship Game picture.

Oakland Raiders’ Head Coach Dennis Allen joined Grant to discuss the team’s loss on Sunday in Baltimore. Coach Allen talked about what went wrong against the Ravens, Baltimore’s fake field goal late in the game and how the team will get reinvigorated for Sunday’s game against the Saints. He also discussed what’s wrong with the defense and the team’s injury report after Sunday.

Tim Ryan came on with Grant today to talk about the San Francisco 49ers’ game against the St. Louis Rams. Tim first talked about how the Rams beat themselves in that game and why they should have won. He also talked about why there’s reason for concern with the 49ers, what the Rams have done to improve this season, and the differences between natural grass and field turf playing surfaces.
