Child Finds Porn On Christmas Gift Tablet

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A 9-year-old was nice but ended up with something naughty after receiving a porn-filled tablet for Christmas.

“She’s seen two videos, pornographic videos. What am I going to tell my 9-year-old?” said Kanisha Morning.

Morning’s family Christmas was ruined. What she showed CBS13 on her 9-year-old daughter’s brand new Android tablet was disturbing. We witnessed extremely graphic sex videos, the same videos possibly seen by her daughter Christmas morning.

Morning noticed an unusual expression on her daughter’s face.

“An awkward look on her face and at the same time I’m asking her ‘what’s wrong;’ and she’s handing me the tablet saying ‘mommy what’s this?’ ” she said.

The videos appear to be amateur and shot in someone’s home.

Morning says she ordered the Zeki Android Tablet online through Target. When it arrived, it allegedly had the manufacture’s seal and was wrapped as new.

It doesn’t seem plausible that the video was made in the home and added onto the tablet. The file date shows the videos were created in June, not the date it was shipped to their home, which was closer to Christmas.

Morning says when she contacted Target online, she was told to return the tablet, but says that’s not good enough. CBS13 contacted Target, but did not get a response before the story aired. ***UPDATE: Jessica Deede, from Target’s Public Relations department sent an email to CBS13 the day after the story aired saying that Target is looking into the issue.

“Who knows how many times this has happened and no one said anything about it,” she said. “Another one could be on its way to another kid.”
