The Grant Napear Show – January 7, 2013

Grant broadcast live from Sleep Train Arena before the start of the Sacramento Kings and Memphis Grizzlies game, and had a lot to talk about coming off the NFL’s Wildcard Weekend. Grant talked about all football’s opening playoff games as well as the recent resurgence of DeMarcus Cousins over the past four games, the upcoming San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers divisional playoff game, and the BCS National Championship game.

Mike Wise of the Washington Post joined Grant on the show.

Wise talked about the Washington Redskins’ decision to play Robert Griffin III despite his knee injury, Russell Wilson’s quiet emergence as a formidable quarterback, Washington’s rebirth as a viable sports city and the end of the NHL lockout.

Eric Hasseltine, the radio voice of the Grizzlies, joined Grant courtside for a chat.

Hasseltine discussed the Grizzlies recent rough patch after having a hot start to the season, the possibility that the Grizzlies make a move at the trade deadline, the upcoming 49ers and Packers game and the BCS National Championship game.
