SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – Police say no one needed to be rescued after a boat was found almost fully submerged on the Sacramento River.

The boat was discovered at around 8:30 Friday morning in the area of 6585 Garden Highway. When police arrived, just the bow of the boat could be seen sticking out above the surface of the water.

West Sacramento fire crews were on the scene to assist Sacramento police.
