SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A high-speed chase suspect who may have fired gunshots overnight was found hiding in a garbage can at an apartment complex.

Police were called out to South Land Park and Willow Lake Street just after midnight after they received reports of gunshots being fired. When police arrived, a man on a motorcycle took off, and police gave chase. They say the man on the motorcycle rode at speeds of 120 miles an hour.

The man parked his motorcycle at an apartment complex on Creeks Edge Way and hid in a trash can. His hiding place was discovered a short time later and he was arrested.

He faces several felony charges.
