SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – More than 400 ballots from the November election were recently found and were not counted, according to the Sacramento County registrar’s office.
The 407 ballots were found Feb. 7 and were from 92 polling places, according to Registrar of Voters Jill LaVine. She said none of the outcomes of the election would have been affected by the misplaced ballots. They were apparently placed in the wrong colored bag and thought to be election supplies rather than actual ballots.
