The Don Geronimo Show - February 19, 2013

Doni is back, and the day begins with his recap of the poker tournament on Saturday, including his inability to play poker, the guy at the table who kept intimidating him, and getting eliminated almost immediately. We then hear about Don's visit to Thunder Valley Sunday night, in which he fell off a couch while playing a slot machine. After hearing about the new documentary Don saw on the Eagles, the guys talk a bit about Alec Baldwin's racial slur to a paparazzi, and Mindy McCready's suicide. The guys also look at a few clips of Mindy McCready's sex tape.

We then hear Lil' Wayne's rant about the NBA, and the Miami Heat, before Don plays a voice mail that was sent to Luke, the creator of the fan site dongeronimo.org. In this voice mail, the guy rants about feuds that Don has had with people over 10 years ago! After another Phone Scan, we get a visit from our friend Frank Caliendo. Frank talks about John Gruden's upcoming interview with Manti Te'o, does his impersonation of Gruden a little bit, and talks about actually meeting him at the Super Bowl!

The State of Mississippi has repealed slavery, after nearly 150 years, and Don calls the office of Dr. Ranjan Batra who discovered the oversight, to give him the "Harless Award." Don even has Craig present it to him over the phone! It's then time for "Phantom News." Today, celebrity birthdays (including our faithful leader, G.M. Steve), Disneyland repeals discounts for SoCal residents, "Celebrity Rehab" deaths, and Anthony Jeselnik's new show, "The Jeselnik Offensive," premieres tonight on Comedy Central. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
