SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A Sacramento home suffered major damage early Thursday when a BMW slammed into the house, crashing through the front door.
The car violently slammed into the home on 71st Street, shaking the house and waking the family.
Trung Voong first thought there had been an earthquake, but when he went downstairs, he found the BMW partially in his home. The driver was nowhere to be found.
“This is probably the craziest thing that has ever happened to me. It was pretty surprising. I never expected something like this to happen,” said Voong.
Four children were also in the home. No one in the home was hurt.
Police arrived to find the BMW locked. They say the car has not been reported stolen and they are now trying to locate the owner of the vehicle.
