2 Found Dead Inside Davis Home; Police Suspect Foul Play

DAVIS (CBS13) - Police are investigating a double murder in Davis.

On Sunday at around 9:20 p.m. police went a home in the 4000 block of Cowell Boulevard for a welfare check. Inside the home they discovered the bodies of two adults.

There were signs of forced entry into the residence, leading police to suspect foul play. It was clear both victims suffered stab wounds, but the official cause of death has yet to be determined.

A motive for the killings has not been released. Police believe the victims are an elderly couple in the mid-70s to late-80s. The man and woman's identities have not been released yet.

The Department of Justice is also involved in the investigation.
