Sacramento Man Cut By Home Invasion Robber Looking For Pills

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A Sacramento resident got into a fight with a robber who was looking for pills early Wednesday morning.

At around 1:30 a.m., the victim was asleep in his residence in the 4300 block of Norwood Avenue, when he was awoken by the sound of the sliding door opening.

The victim confronted the burglar and the two got into a fight. The burglar pulled out a knife and cut the victim, grabbed a bottle of pills and ran off.

Police are still searching for the suspect who is described as black, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 165 pounds. He has dreadlocks and was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
