Department of Social Services Seeks To Revoke Davis Group Home's License

DAVIS (CBS13) - The Davis group home where two teens allegedly raped an 11-year-old girl is now faced with the possibility of losing its license.

The California Department of Social Services is hoping to have FamiliesFirst's operating license revoked, as well as prevent Executive Director Gordon Richardson, and Clinical Director and Administrator Audrie L. Meyer from working in any facility licensed by the department.

In a complaint filed Thursday, the state agency accuses the group home of violation of personal rights, lack of care and supervision, inadequate staffing and not having a proper runaway plan.

Davis police have received more than 500 calls for service in 2013 alone regarding FamiliesFirst's youth. Over 100 of those reports were of youth running away.
