Two Homes, Sheds Burned In Antelope Fire

ANTELOPE (CBS13) - Fire crews are putting out the remains of a fire that burned two mobile homes and two nearby sheds in Antelope.

The fire was still going at around 7:20 a.m. when our crews arrived at the fire on Doolittle Drive, just off of PFE Road.

Firefighters say the fire began behind one of the homes and quickly spread to the other structures. Three nearby homes on Winter Oak Way were evacuated as a precaution.

"I just woke up, my mom freaked out, she woke me up and I went straight to the backyard and there was a huge black cloud, fire everywhere and I instantly called 911," said a resident.

Neighbors claim the person living at the home where the fire started is a hoarder; however, firefighters have not said whether the number of items in the home contributed to the blaze.

Officials are working to determine the exact cause of the fire.
