Flash Flood Warning Issued For Placer County As Rains Hit American Fire Area
PLACER COUNTY (CBS13) —The National Weather Service has issued a flash-flood warning for Central Placer County until 9:15 p.m. Saturday.
Radar indicated the wide area of moderate to heavy rain that's been soaking the valley is moving across the burn scar left by the American Fire.
The nearly 30,000-acre fire in the Tahoe National Forest burned through much of August and was finally contained on Aug. 30.
