Firefighter Injured While Battling Citrus Heights Blaze
CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) - A firefighter is recovering after a house fire in Citrus Height overnight.
Firefighters believe the flames started when a man renting the home on Twin Oaks Avenue and Canyon Oak Drive was cooking something on the stove.
Officials say he left the food on the stove, went to the store and came back to the fire.
The renter received minor burns.
A firefighter was having problems breathing and was taken to the hospital.
