Keith decided today that the NFL should change its rule regarding the ability to strip a ball carrier after forward progress has been stopped and that the league inappropriately applied a rule that led to a game winning field goal by Nick Folk to help the Jets past the Patriots.
Mike Pereira of Fox Sports explained the ruling in yesterday's Jets/Patriots game that cost New England a victory on a last second field goal. He also talked about last night's Colts/Broncos matchup and addressed Keith's call for a rule change when it comes to stripping the ball from a runner. Pereira went on to explain why his golfing buddies call him "Ira".
Keith and Dave also reviewed the Broncos' first loss of the season in which Andrew Luck spoiled Peyton Manning's return to Indianapolis. Other topics included the 49ers' win in Tennessee, plus the upcoming World Series between Boston and St. Louis.
