STOCKTON (CBS13) — The Stockton chapter of the Boys and Girls Club has had its charter pulled by the national body.
The group will lose hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding, and hundreds of families will need to figure out where students will go for after-school care.
CBS13 received a copy of an email in November sent by Mayor Anthony Silva to several local Boys and Girls Club board members. The former CEO of the club said he didn’t want the national chapter to see the financial records of the Stockton chapter.
