Sacramento Republic 2014 Schedule Revealed: Home Opener April 26
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The Sacramento Republic FC unveiled its schedule for its inaugural season.
The team's season opens on March 29 against Los Angeles Galaxy II. From there, the team plays several road matches before its home debut on April 26 at 7:30 p.m. against the Harrisburg City Islanders.
The Republic will have a home date on July 4 against the Los Angeles Blues with fireworks to follow the match.
Its season stretches 14 home dates from late April through Sept. 6. The team is hoping to play its home games at Cal Expo this season, where two home games will be played during the 2014 California State Fair. An agreement still needs to be finalized.
