The Grant Napear Show started off today talking about the Oakland Athletics and the potentially bad news they received about two of their starting pitchers (Jarrod Parker and A.J. Griffin) and what it means for the Athletics going forward.
Later on Grant had on former Sacramento King Jimmer Fredette to talk about his time with Sacramento as well as what it’s been like playing on the Bulls and playing for coach Tom Thibideau. Grant and Jimmer talked about the time Jimmer was here and what he enjoyed the most when he was a King.
Grant also had on Coach Michael Malone on the show to talk about the way the Kings have been playing lately and what to expect from them going forward. Coach and Grant talked about Jimmer and what he meant to the team while he was here and wishes him the best going forward.
Grant also had on Oakland Athletic color commentator Ray Fosse to talk about the A’s and how bad it is that two of their best pitchers may be sat down for a little bit of time. Fosse talked about the pitching staff that they have and how great it is in his opinion even if the injuries are more severe.
Finally Grant had on David Steele of the Sporting News to talk about things such as the Washington Redskins, Johnny Manziel and the NFL Draft in general and who he thinks will be good players when all is said and done.
