Police: Shooting At Party Leaves 1 Dead
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The Sacramento Police Department is looking for leads in a shooting that has taken the life of a 21-year-old man.
Police say they were called to the 300 block of River Bend Circle about a shooting. Officers quickly learned that a party had been going in an apartment in the area right before a man was shot.
The 21-year-old man was shot multiple times, police say. He was found at the scene was taken to the hospital, but later died from his injuries. No one else was hurt in the incident.
Investigators believe that the man was shot inside the apartment while the party was going on.
No suspect information or a motive for the shooting has been released, but both Sacramento Police Homicide Detectives and Gang Detectives are looking into the case. Anyone who went to the party is asked to call police at (916) 264-5471.
