Project Truth Responds To Neighbors' Complaints About Flyers

RANCHO CORDOVA (CBS13) - A local group accused of passing out graphic anti-abortion flyers to students at a local school is responding to concerned parents tonight.

We first brought you this story last night on the CBS13 News at 10. The Folsom Cordova School District says they can't stop Project Truth from handing out the flyers because they were on a public sidewalk. Parents say they're upset because the images used were disturbing and neighbors say it's causing a litter problem.

Tonight Project Truth released a statement about the controversy saying, in part, "The information handed out … is factual information that the schools frequently censure. We provide helpful information that will allow students to make completely informed decisions concerning abortion."
