Suspect In Minivan Sought After Shooting Injures 1

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento Police are investigating a shooting that has sent one person to the hospital early Sunday afternoon.

The incident looks to have happened along the 2900 block of Marysville Boulevard around 1:47 p.m.

One victim has been identified. He has been taken to the hospital and his expected to survive.

Michele Gigante with the Sacramento Police Department tells CBS13 that the suspects in the incident drove away from the scene in an older, blue minivan. The shooting doesn’t appear to be gang-related, she noted.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Sacramento Police Department.
