On this episode of the Grant Napear Show, Grant opened the show discussing former Clippers Owner Donald Sterling's interview on CNN with Anderson Cooper about his remarks towards African Americans and minorities in his phone call with former girlfriend V. Stiviano, the attention and publicity towards St. Louis Rams' 7th round Draft pick and first openly gay player in the NFL Michael Sam, the Golden State Warriors Head Coaching Vacancy, Stan Van Gundy going to coach the Detroit Pistons, and much more.

In the 4 o'clock hour Grant was joined by CSN Bay Area reporter Monty Poole to discuss the Warriors Head Coaching job vacancy, Steve Kerr's interest in the job and the New York Knicks job as well, and Lionel Hollins as a possible wild card for the position. Grant went on to discuss more in detail about other topics such as the Oakland A's injury woes and the San Francisco Giants' red hot start.

At 5 o'clock newly acquired San Francisco 49ers Wide Receiver Stevie Johnson was on the phone with Grant to discuss his new team and what he's looking forward to achieving in the 2014 NFL Season.

On today's edition of "Grant's Rant", Grant ranted about Carolina Panthers Defensive End Greg Hardy being arrested for domestic assault on his girlfriend. "How dumb can you be if these allegations are true?" said Grant.
