"Sign Lady" Inducted Into ESPN Fan Hall Of Fame

Sacramento Kings fans have been known as one of the loudest and most loyal fan bases in sports, and on Thursday one of the biggest fans received national recognition.

Barbara Rust aka "Sign Lady" was officially inducted Thursday into the ESPN Fan Hall of Fame after receiving more than 85,000 votes on the Fan Hall of Fame website.

"I think one of the great bonuses we have from being in Sacramento is that we have great fans, and Barbara Rust aka The Sign Lady is one of the best fans we have," Kings head coach Michael Malone said in December.

Barbara and her husband Niko have been season ticket holders since the Kings arrived in Sacramento in 1985.

"You see her messages of hope and encouragement every single game. Heck, they have a foam finger as the a star on their Christmas tree at home. There is no better fan in the world than Sign Lady," Carmichael Dave said.
