$200,000 Bentley Stolen Off Street In Palo Alto
PALO ALTO, Calif. (AP) - Police in Palo Alto are on the lookout for a roughly $200,000 Bentley that was stolen sometime after its owner left it parked on a street in May.
Police tell the Palo Alto Daily News the blue, 2013 Bentley Continental GTC was discovered missing when its owner, a resident of neighboring Menlo Park, went to retrieve it on Friday. He had parked on the street on May 28.
Lt. Zach Perron says the vehicle is distinct, so it will turn up with some luck. He says the case is being handled like any other vehicle theft.
It was not known why the owner left the Bentley on a public street for that long.
