2 Found Dead In Sacramento Home Following Reported Shooting

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police are investigating a possible shooting inside of a home that has left two people dead.

The incident was first reported a little before 11 a.m.  along the 6300 block of Glenhills Way, off of Sunrise Drive and Elder Creek Road.

A SWAT team was soon called to the area. A little before noon, SWAT entered the home and found two people inside. The two were deceased, police say.

Police say that a man found inside looks to have a self-inflicted gunshot wound. No information on the other victim has been released.

Nearby Camellia Basic Elementary School was put on precautionary lockdown around 10:45 a.m. due to the incident police say. The lockdown was quickly lifted, according to Gabe Ross from the Sacramento City Unified School District.
