Woman, Child Killed In Crash East Of Auburn
EL DORADO COUNTY (CBS13) – A woman and child were killed in a car crash in east of the community of Cool Sunday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol says the woman was driving on Highway 193, near Cramer Road in Cool when, according to investigators she lost control and went off the road.
A pickup truck hit then right side of the car, killing the woman and child.
Authorities note the child was secured in a booster seat.
Alcohol, drugs, and texting are under investigation as possible causes.
