5 Biggest Fantasy Disappointments Of Week 3

If you are playing fantasy football you will long remember the craziness of week 3 in the NFL. Several big name players completely let their fantasy owners down with dismal showings and far fewer points than expected. Chances are if you are reading this – you had one of these players on your team.

Here are the five biggest Fantasy disappointments of Week 3:

5. Eddie Lacy

Eddie Lacy and his fantasy owners will want to forget about week 3. Even his coach said he needs to play better after rushing for 36 yards on 11 carries.  That's just not going to cut it.

4. Matt Stafford

Matt Stafford was held scoreless and threw two interceptions in week 2.  According to CBSSports.com – he was predicted to get 29 fantasy points against Green Bay but ended up with just a handful.

 3. Jamaal Charles

While Jamaal was out with an injury – we can't talk about fantasy disappointments without mentioning Charles. In many leagues he was the first pick of the draft and after three weeks he only has 24 rushing yards to show for it.

 2. Brandon Marshall

One of the best wide receivers in the league had a very quiet night against the Jets – making one catch (noted in the photo below). Although he was gimpy throughout the game, fantasy owners expected many more points from Mr. Marshall.

1. LeSean McCoy

Perhaps the biggest surprise of Week 3 was the lack of production from LeSean McCoy. McCoy ran for just 22 yards against the Redskins in a week where many rankings had him as the #1 RB of the week.
