Man Fatally Shot At Stockton Flea Market Parking Lot

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say a man who pulled out a gun and shot at a group of people was himself shot and killed Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened at the parking lot of the S. El Dorado Street Flea Market a little before 3 p.m., according to the Stockton Police Department. Police say that a 22-year-old man was walking through the parking lot when he made some sort of comments to three people in front of him.

At some point, the man pulled out a gun and shot at the three. However, one of the other people also pulled out a gun and returned fire.

The 22-year-old man was hit in the gun battle, but it is unclear if the other three were hurt. He was later taken to the hospital and died from his injuries.
