Bera, Ose Race Still Too Close To Call

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - The race for Congressional District 7 is still up in the air today.

Republican challenger Doug Ose has a 3,000 vote lead over Democratic Representative Ami Bera. There are still thousands of ballots that haven't been counted, and a final count likely won't come for a few days.

"We know there's a long ways to go here. We were tied up in 2012; at the end of that race we won by over 9,000 votes. We're not gonna make any predictions. We don't know what's gonna happen in this race," said Rep. Bera.

Doug Ose did not respond to our request for comment.
