Sacramento Kings Honoring Veterans With Hoops For Troops Night
Every Veterans Day, we are reminded of the sacrifice that these men and women do everyday for this country. The Sacramento Kings will honor veterans with a special night this Saturday, 11/15/14, when they play San Antonio.
Hoops for Troops Night
For every ticket purchased thru Veteran's Day, the Kings will match and provide a ticket to local military member to attend the game. Active and retired military personnel will also receive a 15 percent discount in the Kings Team Store during the game and a free soda when they show their ID at section 110 prior to halftime.
The players will honor veterans by wearing special gear during the game. Coaches and broadcasters will wear NBA Cares Hoops for Troops lapel pins. There will also be a Hoops For Troops t-shirts for purchase.
